The building is located in the heart of Powiśle at the foot of Skarpa Warszawska, between Warsaw University and the new University Library, with a view over The Royal Castle. One of the first modern apartment buildings in this area of Warsaw, deliberately given a modest and disciplined form, limited to 5 floors, so as not to dominate and obscure the views over its historical neighbourhood and The River Vistula. Inside, it boasts a multi-level lobby with a circular staircase and a glass cabin of a panoramic lift.

Project phase: conceptual project

Acting on instructions of a demanding German investor, we delivered the design of the superstructure of the front part of the building, which has been realised. The annexe of this tenement house from the early 20th century still awaits reconstruction. We have found an appropriate form for it – with lots of glass, banisters, which refer to the banisters in the main staircase and a mood that transports us to the beginning of the last century.

Project phase: Building permit design

Two town villas each containing 4 apartments and an underground car park for 12 cars. The buildings are situated at the foot of Skarpa Warszawska in the historical district of Młociny, in an area protected by the Voivodeship Conservator of Historical Monuments and the Voivodeship Conservator of Nature. The old part of Młociny, around the cobblestone-paved ul. Dankowicka, is a rare combination of landscape and nature with historical development. The buildings, filled with modern technologies and designed with many glass elements, also contain natural materials and fit the climate of this part of Bielany. The single-story apartments with lots of space and sunlight provide an alternative to the 3-storey narrow terrace housed found in other sections of Bielany.

Project phase: Building permit design

The tallest building in Piaseczno near Warsaw. The building forms part of “Osiedle Róż” and clearly shows the boundary of this estate. Its 18-storey corner accentuates the junction of ul. Jarząbka and ul. Pawia, where the main entrance to the estate is found. The building, containing a 3-storey car park and commercial premises and easy-to-sell compact flats on floors 14-18, also boasts large flats with views of the Palace of Culture on one side and Chojnowski Landscape Park on the other.

For twenty years the site of this building was occupied by an anonymous metal skeleton of a building, the construction of which had been abandoned. Work resumed towards the end of the 1980s according to WADECO’s design. We have created a new building – the icon of Plac Bankowy. This project initiated a period of creating high-rise buildings in Warsaw, which now make up the modern skyline of the city.

The building is situated in the heart of the old, authentic Praga District, close to a historic vodka distillery and The Różycki Bazaar. The building has become part of the atmosphere of the old Praga thanks to the shape of its roof, dormers and rounded corners. The existing fragments of the old single-story buildings have become an integral part of the new structure.

The building is located in the centre of Old Mokotów in exclusive, quiet ul. Ursynowska. One side of the street is occupied by a park and the other by small residential houses built in the 1920-30s. The angle of the roof and the red ceramic roof tiles are identical to those applied in a neighbouring building erected 80 years ago. The building contains 8 apartments and an underground car park with 12 parking spaces. Access to each apartment is provided from separate landings. The top-floor apartments are penthouses. In the case of this project the designers were also the developers.
